The Grand EGYPTIAN museum

The Grand Egyptian Museum holds in trust for Egypt and the World a chronological statement for the ancient history of Egypt over the past 7000 years. 

The Grand Egyptian Museum will allow Egypt to become a major worldwide hub for Pharonic history and a must-visit place for Egyptologists. 

The site chosen only 2km from the legendary Pyramids as shown in the pictures i took. between the ancient Great Pyramids and the modern city of Cairo

On 4th of February 2002,the foundation stone of the Grand Egyptian museum was laid and it is expected to be opened by the end of this year and open for all the visitors from Egypt and all around the world .

The grand Egyptian museum is designed in such a manner to create a world class building demonstrating the progress, evolution and development of the Egyptian Civilisation.
