Yesterday, Must medical student's association (MMSA) has organised awareness campaign about female genital mutilation, in the garden, in cooperation with (IFMSA) this is a non profit organisation working to offer future physician a comprehensive introduction to public health issues by taking part in the international medical student community to broaden their spectrum and reach their full potential since 1968.
They made partitions every one of them had students from human medicine college, they explain this bad habit in details to the students who came from all other faculties.
They said, they will make this campaign in the villages and rural areas in order to aware them to stop doing this bad habit to the young girls because it leads to death
In this campaign they talked mainly about female genital mutilation from medically point of view not from religiously point of view, saying that there is no Quranic verse obligate to make this dangerous surgery to the young girls, but this is an African bad habit.
At the end of the event, they gave people flyers to aware them about this bad habit, also to give them new information about it.
