DR Micheal foley in MUST ..

A very important conference was held by Misr University For Science and Technology on Wednesday 15 March at 11:00 Am .
This conference was under supervision of professor Mohamed Rashad and Dr Amani omar .
They welcomed Dr Michael foley who came from DIT University in Dublin ,Ireland.
DR Michael foley worked as a reporter for 15 years ,so he have a great experience in journalism.
The conference was about new media and it's effect on communication, he also made a comparison between new media and traditional media saying the differences between them and which is much better ..
He said about the social media especially the facebook that it's not a media its just a platform and that was a shock to all of us as we use the facebook as a tool of news and information.
Also he talked about the traditional media and that it's more honest ,and he advised us to read newspaper as it's the most honest tool of information.

Also he stressed on that people Who change and improve technology not the opposite ..
After that Dr Amani added that the media sphere is the most important thing and that we have to distinguish between social media and real journalism.
