The Egyptian government will increase the price of the metro tickets and make it a double, from 1 EGP to 2 EGP.
This will happen to to solve financial issues since the metro service is facing 500 million EGP in debt because of the upgrades and new lines , so increasing the ticket's price will help solving this but it'll affect a certain category of people.
