Special guest in MUST University!

Faculty of Media and Mass Communication at Misr University For Science And Technology{MUST}, has established an important conference on Wednesday 15th March at 11:00 am in the VIP conference hall, Its topic was about " Web based media " that hosted by Dr. MICHEAL FOLY who is a Professor at Dublin institute of  technology{ DIT }in Dublin,Ireland. and its also was under supervision of Professor Mohamed Rashad and Professor Amani Omar who is the head of public relation department.And this conference was full of Media faculty students who were keen to attend and take a lot of information from Dr. Micheal expertise in the field of journalism.

He talked about new media and traditional media also he did a comparison between them explaining each one of them.and discuss with us how media especially the new media effective in our communication because now we can know the news from Facebook,tweeter,etc. But in his point of view he see that social media, especially Facebook is not a media it's just a platform any one can add and write whatever he want without 100% of credibility obverse the traditional media. Also he talked about the importance of journalist role and how to be a successful journalist.

At the End of the conference, Dr Michael gave the students a chance to ask whatever they want to ask and discuss with him anything that they need to know answers,information and his advises about their questions. and it was one of their questions they asked him about Is there is a freedom in Arab media as in European media or there is a difference way and why?
