Wednesday , 15 March, doctor Michael Foley, Doctor at DIT university Dublin city
Ireland, doctor Amany Omar and doctor Mohamed Rashad made a press conference at
Misr University for Science and Technology talking about web-based media.
Dr.
Foley talked about social media and technology in general, how Facebook isn't a
media: "It's only a platform." -He said- and about the big difference
between what is going on blog, facebook and twitter and what is professional
journalism, but journalism needs an audience to read, and how new media is
"the process of communication" he mentioned.
It's worth mentioning, doctor Michael cleared
that as we are new media journalist, that publish real news about people out
there, doesn't mean that media is difficult.
