But among all of those revolutionary features, there's one special phone that stood above them all. An enduring battery, a simple design, strong materials, even a rumor spread that you can remove the SIM from its slot and continue your call for free, the one and great "Nokia 3310". All the people who witnessed the start of the spreading era of mobile phones know the 3310. It may have been the most popular among mobile phones at that time, and his reputation remains eternal as an icon for endurance and strength.

    Why are we talking about this legend?!

         Well, Nokia has announced that they'll release a newer edition for the great 3310 this summer. Well, why should you buy this old junk?! Let me list some technical facts, then other shocking behavioral facts. The company has announced that the old 3310's battery could endure up to a week, and the new one will endure a month on standby mode. It'll have the snake game but not in the same mono-colored pixels. The new 3310 shall have a 2 MP camera -inefficient yes, but revolutionary when compared to the original version itself-.

         Disregarding the battery issue, the set surely seems unappealing, yet to your shock the sales and number of pre-requests for the new 3310 is unprecedented through the past years. "There has been an astonishing groundswell of interest in the Nokia 3310 following the launch announcement of this re-imagined classic," said Andrew Wilson, UK director of buying at Carphone Warehouse. "Levels of pre-registrations at Carphone Warehouse are incredibly strong, proving that it's not all hype and that consumers really want to get their hands on one."

         We know people feel the excitement to get in touch with the 3310 which brings them back to much simpler times, and of course, when we put into consideration the endurance of the set, but on the other hand, we still doubt that this might be a hype and people will soon forget about it as they've done with Pokémon Go. Well, time will decide and after all the release date isn't that far.
