We in Egypt are suffering from a crisis in the education system in The International School of Egypt, El Sheikh Zayed, or as called the school of superior, special and creative students, kills the creativity by throwing the students' works and projects in the garbage in front of their very eyes, which led to their disappointment and grief for wasting their efforts in vain. Also, the parents were all mad for such a money and time waste, and say that instead, the school could have made a gallery or just hung the students' work in school as a motivation for the kids.
This also applies to the country, as it
just ignores the ideas of its youth, at the same time that taking these ideas
seriously would make the country more successful and advanced.Holding the ambition and talents back is heredity in the ministry of education, so it is nothing new to throw the youth's ideas and kids innovations away.
However, as we spoke with the teachers of the school, some of them refused the incident and the others said that they would just apologies to the children. But is apology enough to make it up for the children who saw their efforts in garbage?
Pedagogical disaster in a futile educational system. What are we expecting from a generation that sees their dreams and efforts being killed?
