Genes save the world from Alzheimer's disease

Scientists have discovered that a group of special genes in
the Icelandic population may be the fight against many diseases.

1% of Iceland's population has a special gene, according
 to researchers.

This mutation can protect them completely from Alzheimer's
disease and be a treat for them.

The roots of this discovery lie within the history of Iceland and
 the Viking tribes.

The next step would be to clone these genetic changes
 to develop new treatments.
