BBC Internship

A conference was held on Wednesday at Misr university for science and technology, it was organized by the Dean of faculty of mass communication at the university Dr. Hassan under the supervision of Dr. Nashwa Akl the Chief of radio&television department, attendees from BBC included Mrs.Heba the HR manger for BBC office at London and Mr.Akram Shaaban the manger of BBC office in Egypt and the audience that allowed to be their are the students of the faculty whose their grades are B+ and above.

The main purpose of this conference is to offer internship for the students in the university in BBC for training in all BBC's offices either radio or television for a month, indeed this intership is offered for four universties here in egypt one of them is MUST and the otheres are AAST, CIC and Cairo University, it's to be notable that they announced through the conference that they would take only eight students from the four universties.

Actually they put rules for the students to be accepted; first they showed them an application to be fill in and a chanllenge they've to do to be accepted which is to think about an idea that the media in general neglect it or don't talk about it as much as they should and this idea must be of great importance not only to Egypt but for all the arabian countries and they highlighted in the first place that the idea should be creative and there must be either a video or audio that support the idea for more illustration.
In order to be accepted in this internship, there're two stages the students must pass; one of them is the application and the challenge and if they passed the first one in a proper way they would've the chance to move to the second stage which is an interview at the BBC office.
Inaddition to that they showed the students a video which is briefly shows BBC history since it's started till now and BBC channels all over the world to have a general background about BBC before applying for internship their.
