AUTOSTRAD

 

Lyric from one type to another, moving «Autostrad» Band of Jordan between the different musical stations, blending melodies and musical schools combine fragrant past and present, to wander out around the world non-stop.

AUTOSTRAD is an Jordanian Indie band formed in 2007.

MEMBERS :

·         Avo Demerjian - bass guitar and vocals
·         Bashar Hamdan - saxophone and keyboard
·         Shadi Khries - keyboard and Percussion
·         Yazan Al Rousan - guitar and main vocals
·         Burhan Al Ali - drums and vocals
·         Hilmi Fanni - guitar and vocals

The slogan «stronger type» “Agwa No3” band continue, without fear of the bifurcation and the lack of jurisdiction in music, «Autostrad» did not leave a kind musician and a concert, whether ancient or modern, but the Ahtrvath and tasted

Autostrad's music is influenced by a mix of rock, reggae, Latin and funk combined with their own created lyrics of Jordanian slang. The topics draw inspiration from everyday life in Jordan, the group conveys stories of love, struggle, financial challenges,drug abuse, and finding ones self through their music.The band has gained popularity amongst Jordanian youth because of their music evokes daily life in the country.

- They have record three albums: Fe Autostrad (2008), Autostrad (2011) and Nitrogen (2013). 

They have toured the Arab Middle East, at times fostering controversy. Their tour that included the Golan Heights, Nazareth, Haifa, Ramallah and Jerusalem's Old City drew criticism because of their decision to cross the Jordan River using a visa issued by the Israeli Embassy in Amman.In 2014, they were invited to play in London as part of their tour. It was their first time playing outside the Arab World.
They have also appeared several times on television, most notably when they were featured in a show by Ro'ya TV and also when they were hosted by Bassem Youssef on his show Al Bernameg  

«Knbay» and «Estana Shui» and «Mesafer» and «Mersal», the songs of the leading and most prevalent among the public which demands during concerts.

Their first event was on Monday, May 2 on the stage of «Murano» Theater Ain Sukhna.

Their last event in cairo was on Thursday, May 5 on  Cairo Festival City Mall with an open invitation .
