The first type of social networking created was Email, which was invented in 1975 (Email).Since then social networking has advanced into a profile with numerous features that can be used and has integrated the use of email.
Now social networking involves sharing stories, photos, and involves the use of apps as well as messaging to communicate with others.
Shortly after Facebook was launched which has become the number one social networking site today additional to instgram, twitter and many other sites .

Some of social media’s advantages include the ability of users to conveniently stay in touch with friends and family who live far away, connect with like-minded people, and expand business contacts, usually for free. Social media has also been used to increase awareness of social and political issues and organize demonstrations.

Manal adel , 47 years old said that, There are sites that are useful and encourage her to read the religious azkar , and that social networking sites help her to know the news in Egypt and abroad, and she see that it provides useful information for her.
Sara Ayman, 21 years old said that, It helps to know the news of artists in Egypt and abroad, and it occupies a lot of free time, helps them to acquire and share information with her friends.
Zolfa Abdalla, 24 years old said that, It helps to reach old friends, social networking sites are a way of entertaining, and help her to easily talk with her traveling relatives, in addition to it facilitates the process of education through the participation of information.
Donia Nasser, 23 years old said that, It facilitates communication with people abroad in a free way and for a longer time, and she benefits from courses on the Internet so that it provides teaching of different languages.
