Uber to acquire its middle eastern rival Careem

Uber announced that it will be buying its rival in the middle east which is Careem, Uber said that the deal will cost them 3.1 billion dollars.
Careem said it will still be operating independently in the middle east and Egypt.
Uber said that the deal will be finished around 2020 and that it will acquire all of Careem's assets which are its delivery services and its transportation service too.

Careem CEO Mudassir Sheikha will still be operating Careem with his other Co-founders, Mudassir believes that Careem will grow faster after Uber acquires it and it will spread worldwide not only in the middle east and Egypt, because of how Uber is almost spread in the whole world, not only the United States.
