Egypt will be constructing the worlds largest solar power plant

Egypt will be building the largest solar power plant in the world, which will be built in Aswan in upper Egypt, around 650 workers are working at the station and it began in December 2017.
The power station will be constructed in the Benban solar park.

The Benban power station is supposed to generate 90 percent of the amount of energy generated by the high dam in Aswan, the name of the station 'Benban" comes from a village close to the Nile river, the power station will cover all of Egypt's electricity needs.
The station will be finished and will begin operating by the end of 2019.
